Hi, I'm Justin.

Hi! This is the webpage for Justin Smyth. I am an engineer from Pennsylvania, USA. I studied Mechanical Engineering and have always enjoyed learning how things work and how to make them better.

What drives me

Curiosity, systems thinking, efficiency, impact, and collaboration values that guide how I approach both work and life. I am interested in automation, AI, large-scale problem solving, process improvement, and manufacturing efficiency.

What I’m working toward

I am currently an automation engineer leading an Optimization program that delivers exceptional results and great value to some of the world’s largest material handling systems across the United States. My focus is on leading programs that connect technical systems with operational outcomes.

Outside of work

Outside of work I focus on maintaining my health through running, lifting, and cycling. I enjoy traveling across the world with my girlfriend, Lauren, and exploring cities and places. I also spend a lot of time researching investments from the stock market to real estate always looking for new ways to learn and grow.
